Greetings, parents/guardians, educators, and students! I currently work as an elementary school counselor in Windsor Central School District. Previously, I served as an elementary school counselor in the Towanda Area School District (2013-2018) and a high school counselor in Vestal Central School District (2018-2021). As a professional school counselor, I strive to help my students to become well-rounded, compassionate, conscientious, life-long learners and citizens. In collaboration with stakeholders, I work hard to empower my students to achieve their social-emotional, academic, and career goals!
My favorite hobbies are baking, hiking, stand-up paddle boarding, skiing, practicing yoga, and spending time with family, friends, and my pets. I have two cats named Tasha and Bowie and a dog named Reggie who is half Dachshund and half Shih Tzu. Reggie became a certified therapy dog in February, 2022 and now comes to work with me a few days a week! I received my Master's degree in School Counseling from the University of Scranton in May, 2013. I am certified in professional school counseling for students in kindergarten through twelfth grade. In June, 2013, I became a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). I hold a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in School Counseling and I am working towards my professional counseling license (LPC). I am a member of the American School Counseling Association (ASCA) and the New York School Counselors Association (NYSCA). I hope that this website will provide parents/ caregivers, students, and stakeholders with useful information and resources. Please contact me if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions!
